The longer I’m in the business of in-home care, the more I’m convinced of the importance of choosing the right agency.  Your loved one is safest if you work with an agency that have employees (not independent contractors), utilizes caregivers that are licensed (improved accountability), and has a Registered Nurse supervising the case.  The quality of the service is greatly improved and possibility of hospitalization is greatly reduced.
