Comparing licensed, to non-licensed caregivers: - Celestial Care

Comparing licensed, to non-licensed caregivers:

The Bureau of Labor Statistics describes home health care aides as those who help people who are disabled, chronically ill or cognitively impaired. There are neither any formal educational nor actual work experience requirements for home health care aides, an occupational category to which we at Celestial Care are sometimes compared. However, we provide licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to our patients. A CNA always is supervised by a skilled nurse.
Celestial Care exclusively employs certified and licensed staff to ensure only the best care possible for our clients. We do expect our CNA’s to go well beyond the guidelines of the job description, to be personable, friendly and possess all the skills needed to work in the client’s home, and make them comfortable. Background checks are performed on all of our administrative and licensed staff to ensure the client that the individual coming into their home has a “spotless” background. We make sure all of our staff are a good fit for the client’s short- or long- term care needs.
